Now, if your reception and ceremony are both to be held outdoors and guests milling outdoors, think about the games or activities that occur outdoors and still keep their level of formality or lack of formality. For example, if you are holding the reception at a park, perhaps the guests could enjoy a “walk in the lane down memory; before the reception, someone can use potted plants or arbors to create a small private lane, through which guests can walk. Along the path, guests will find the pictures of the bride and groom at various stages in their lives. There should be a place for guests to record their thoughts and memories along the way too.

If your wedding and reception are fairly casual, you can always tell guests ahead of time to prepare for a ball game or some other outdoor activity fun. Women can bring a pair of sneakers. Just imagine the pictures you ‘fun; all out of a football game or baseball leads played by women in dresses and sneakers and men in games and sneakers!

You can provide a challenge activity involving barefoot dancing in the grass or a Frisbee toss in the backyard. Is there a pool in the yard where conducted at the reception? Why not has a swimming activity for after making the entire reception?
